Call for 2021/22 Mentorship Program

Brock’s mentorship program is managed by Human Resources and is open to all staff and faculty.

Now in its fourth year, the program aims to create and sustain an inclusive mentoring community that fosters diversified knowledge, the opportunity to learn from colleagues and create meaningful connections across campus. This program matches mentees with experienced, knowledgeable and insightful mentors who assist mentees in meeting their professional and personal goals.

There are two ways to participate in the Brock Mentorship Program:

  • Mentor: Ongoing employees with more than 1 year of service at Brock are eligible mentors. Mentors must also complete the mentor orientation.
  • Mentee: Brock employees with an active employment agreement that spans the duration of the 8-month mentorship program are eligible to become mentees. Ideal mentees are individuals who are focusing on professional growth, have clear objectives and willingness to receive feedback.

Pairs are expected to meet for a minimum of 1 hour a month for the duration of the program (November to June).

Please note that the application deadline for the program is Friday, October 8, 2021.

All staff and faculty are encouraged to share the program information broadly. They are also encouraged to consider participating in the program by becoming a mentor or a mentee.

For information on the program and application process, visit the Learning and Development SharePoint site. Questions can be directed to Cathy Baillie, Learning and Organizational Development Specialist.
