The Vice-Provost, Teaching & Learning is responsible for providing vision, leadership, and support to the University in all aspects related to the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning. Our focus is on innovating, promoting best practices in pedagogy, and supporting student success as they pursue their academic and life goals.
The Vice-Provost advances Brock’s Academic Plan. In doing so, they support Brock’s Strategic Plan priority to provide a transformational and accessible academic and university experience.
The Vice-Provost provides leadership and oversight to administrative support units that affect the overall quality of students’ experience and success, including the Centre for Pedagogical Innovation and Co-op, Career and Experiential Education.
The Vice-Provost oversees the equity side of the University’s academic operations, including promoting Universal Design for Learning, accessibility of courses and course materials for those living with disabilities, and ensuring institutional compliance with AODA standards.
The Office of the Vice-Provost is committed to supporting Brock’s guiding values and nurturing an environment of integrity, accountability, inclusion, and care. In reflection of this, we invite all members of the university community to use this digital space to connect with us and remain informed through our regular updates.
