Congratulations on becoming a Brock Badger! 

We’re excited to welcome you to the Brock community! Register for our Smart Start program to meet other Badgers, learn about your Brock experience and get answers to all of your important questions. Led by a team of current students and supported by the broader campus community, our programming includes course registration resources, email support, and additional information sessions on topics such as:

  • Academic success

  • Getting involved
  • On-campus housing and off-campus living
  • Student wellness
  • University preparation
  • Your Brock Card

Register before June 3, 2024 to receive a 20% discount on student registration.
After June 3, 2024, the student price will increase to $50.

Things to do before your Smart Start date

  1. If you haven't done so already, register for your Smart Start date and prepay before you attend. You will need your seven-digit Brock Student ID number located on your offer of admission.
  2. Register for your courses. Not sure how? Join us for a How to Register for Courses session online throughout the month of June. Visit our Campus Events page to register.

Our goal is to help Status or Non-Status self-identified Indigenous students (inclusive of First Nations, Metis, and Inuit students) make a smooth transition to life at Brock. We offer services in a culturally sensitive manner and encourage students to maintain or increase their cultural identity while at Brock.

If your parents didn't attend post-secondary, you're blazing your own trail, which means you're a first generation student.

Dietary Information

Meal vouchers will be provided for you and your guests. These vouchers will allow you to choose from various dining stations in our Guernsey Market, based on your preferences. To help us prepare for your visit, please indicate any dietary restrictions in your group (including both the student and guests)

The facilities and kitchens used to store, prepare and serve meals on campus are not Kosher certified. If this inhibits the appropriate accommodation for your dietary needs, please reach out to dining@brocku.ca regarding your upcoming time at Brock University, to ensure a plan can be created for you.
