Live the Future Now: Consent Culture is Our Revolution
1:00 – 3:00pm
Thistle Building, room 244
True consent culture isn’t a series of permission-seeking questions; it is a reality where everyone matters. It fully humanizes people and that naturally brings about not only safety and wellness, but also pleasure, fun, and good times. In order to get there, we have to re-humanize people that have systemically been diminished – including ourselves. We have to heal the divides and actually talk to each other. Join us in this interactive workshop, for skills to do all that, and to amplify that hopeful vision.

Brock University acknowledges the land on which we gather is the traditional territory of the Haudenosaunee and Anishinaabe peoples, many of whom continue to live and work here today. This territory is covered by the Upper Canada Treaties and is within the land protected by the Dish with One Spoon Wampum agreement. Today this gathering place is home to many First Nations, Métis, and Inuit peoples and acknowledging reminds us that our great standard of living is directly related to the resources and friendship of Indigenous people.
