Murray Knuttila is a Professor of Sociology at Brock University and an Adjunct Professor in the Department of Sociology and Social Studies at the University of Regina. A supporter of the notion of collegial governance, he served in several senior administrative roles from which he has recovered. His current work focuses on men and masculinities, social theory, population health, and democratic governance and public interest in complex organizations. His most recent book is Paying for Masculinity: Boys, Men and the Patriarchal Dividend (Fernwood, August, 2016).
