The Accessibility at Brock web site provides information on policies and practices under way at Brock. BUFS encourages all staff and students to become aware of accessibility and stay up to date on accessibility practices and services.
BUFS invites comments and suggestions to assist us in enhancing all areas of accessibility. Email comments or suggestions to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Any planned disruptions to BUFS screenings will be posted here.
All FirstOntario Performing Arts Centre (PAC) washrooms are accessible and located near each of the four theatres.
Assistive Devices Available
PAC has a wheelchair on site and Front of House staff are available to assist guests. Booster seats are available on a first come, first served basis. The new Listen Technologies hearing assistance system is available in all theatres. Please reserve any of these at the Box Office or ask the Front of House staff when you arrive.
Service animals are trained specifically to perform various tasks to assist a person with a disability. A service animal may go with a person with a disability anywhere in the theatre that people generally have access, unless excluded by law for health and safety reasons.
BUFS recognizes the Access 2 Entertainment card recognized by Empire Theatres. Persons with a permanent disability who require a support person when attending the Empire Theatre are eligible for the card. The Access 2 Entertainment card provides free admission for support persons accompanying a person with a disability at member movie theatres and selected attractions across Canada. The person with the disability pays regular admission.
Please present your Access 2 Entertainment card at the BUFS ticket table.
