The Faculty of Graduate Studies may match SJRI Masters Fellowship funding of $2000 for a total of $4,000 contingent on budget approval of the matching funds program. If matching funds are unavailable, then successful applicants will receive the $2000 SJRI component of the fellowship only in the third term.

Notification of Outcome & Acceptance of Fellowship
An SJRI sub-committee will rank the applications independently of graduate programs’ admissions processes. Fellowships will be offered to the highest ranked applicants among those who have been recommended for admission to graduate programs. Successful applicants will be notified of the outcome of their application and the value of the fellowship in the funding package section of their offer of admission. Acceptance of an offer of admission assumes acceptance of the Fellowship, unless the Fellowship is declined in writing at the time the offer of admission is accepted.
