ACADEMIC ACCESS TO ART FOR RESEARCH AND TEACHING
Rodman Hall Art Centre/Brock University is a professional university-based public art gallery in the historic Thomas Rodman Merritt House. We encourage Brock’s faculty to arrange course-specific access for students (undergraduate and graduate) to exhibitions and collections to support new kinds of learning and to advance understanding and appreciation of visual art. The Boardroom and Studio Gallery can be booked for on-site for class sessions.
Our collections, exhibitions and events are a teaching and research asset. Please let us know how we can make them work for you. We are open to collaboration with faculty in all disciplines. In addition to our work with the Marilyn I. Walker School of Fine and Performing Arts, we have worked with diverse departments and programs including The Faculty of Education, Modern Languages, Centre for Pedagogical Innovation (CPI), The Department of Child and Youth Studies (CHYS), Faculty of Graduate Studies, and more. If you have an idea you would like to explore, please contact 905-684-2925. If you are interested in integrating your class with one of our exhibitions please contact our Acting Director/Curator Marcie Bronson at 905.688.5550 x 5804 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
