The Bachelor of Accounting (BAcc) at the Goodman School of Business has a national reputation for excellence. The program has been designed to align with the CPA Professional Program and prepare students to meet changing industry demands.

If you want a career as a professional accountant, know that our program integrates real-world analysis and hands-on lab practice that challenge students to make, facilitate, communicate and implement performance-related decisions in a multitude of real-world scenarios.

Obtaining the CPA designation requires 24 months of work experience. Accounting Co-op at Goodman allows you to acquire 12 months of co-op work experience, with eight months counting towards the CPA designation prior to graduation. Goodman’s Accounting programs also prioritize well-being, allowing students to balance all the experiences the business school has to offer, including academics, exchange, co-op and extracurricular activities.

Once you have received your BAcc, you will be ready to continue in Goodman’s Master of Accountancy (MAcc), a 12-month co-op program that delivers the first three modules of the CPA Professional Program and prepares you for the Professional Final Examinations. Four-credit minors in Business or Management are available to Brock students pursuing degrees in other Faculties.
