Teaching & Learning Innovation Grant – Innovations in Pedagogy Stream Application

Complete the online application form below to apply for a Teaching & Learning Innovation Grant to fund a project under the Innovations in Pedagogy stream.

Prior to submitting the application please ensure that you have reviewed the Conditions of the Teaching & Learning Innovation Grant.

Once submitted, your application will be reviewed by the adjudication committee. A member of the committee will contact you within 4 weeks with the outcome of your application.

  • Provide a DETAILED DESCRIPTION of the teaching innovation/project and an OUTLINE OF WHY YOU ARE REQUESTING FUNDING through a Teaching & Learning Innovation Grant. Provide a clear RATIONALE for this teaching innovation/project and outline the GOALS of the project including learning outcomes and anticipated impact on students. Outline the anticipated IMPACT that this teaching innovation/project will have on students and/or the Brock community.

  • Outline the time frame for the proposed project including the projected START and END DATES and MAJOR MILESTONES. You may use point form.
  • SUSTAINABILITY

  • Describe how the teaching innovation/project will be sustained. Address FINANCIAL sustainability and INSTRUCTIONAL sustainability. (e.g. creation of an online module for students which can then be reused for future classes; creation of a student project framework that can be followed in future courses; creation and inclusion of an open education resource (OER) into the course; a proof of concept and then advocate for funding from other sources)
