The Spring Perspectives 2019 REFLECTION IN ACTION, will be held on Tuesday May 7th, 9:00 am – 12:00 pm, in THISTLE 325. This conference will focus on the ways in which faculty, staff and students engage in a variety of forms of reflection, both in and outside the classroom, to deepen learning and discovery. Brock’s own Dr. Thomas S.C. Farrell will provide the plenary address “Exploring Reflective Practice” where he will discuss what reflective practice is and how it can be accomplished. Farrell is widely published and has presented at major conferences worldwide on this subject. A selection of his work can be found on his webpage www.reflectiveinquiry.ca
