Visitor and Service Parking

Thank you for visiting Brock University. We offer paid parking with HONK Mobile in our visitor lots around campus (look for the HONK logo).

Visitor parking is not permitted in any ePermit lot. Vehicles without a valid HONK ePermit for their respective location, will be subject to ticketing, immobilization and/or towing.

How to Pay

Paying for parking is made simple using HONK Mobile. Just follow these few steps:

Step 1: When You Park

Step 2: Enter the Zone ID

  • The Zone ID is posted on the HONK signs located within the lots
  • If you have tapped the sign or scanned the QR code, the zone ID will have already been entered for you
  • Each parking lot has it’s own unique Zone ID (make sure you use the right one!)

Step 3: Select Your Parking Session Duration

  • This is to validate your parking for the entire duration your vehicle is parked

Step 4: Add Your Vehicle Information

  • Enter your license plate and tap the “Add Vehicle” button

Step 5: Add Payment Method

  • Tap on the “New Credit Card” if you have not already set one up
  • Then tap on “Credit” or “Debit”; enter your card number, CVV, expiry date, and billing postal code
  • Tap “Add Card” to confirm

Step 6: Payment

  • On the checkout page, verify the information is correct – license plate, start/end time, payment method
  • When confirmed, click on “Pay and Park”
  • The parking fee will be charged to your method of payment. You can also receive optional text messages/alerts to be notified when your session is about to expire (carrier rates may apply).
  • You can extend the length of your parking session without returning to your vehicle, but will be limited to the maximum duration permitted in the lot

Once you have set up your account, you can save your information so when you visit again or visit another location where HONK is offered, all you need to do is select your parking session and pay!

Service Vehicles Parking

Contractors, vendors, suppliers and service providers must make parking arrangements with your Brock contact prior to arriving.

All service vehicles without parking arrangements made with Parking Services through your Brock contact are subject to regular ticketing as per the Rules and Regulations.

Personal vehicles or company vehicles will require parking permits available through Parking Services. Placing a sign or business card on the dashboard of a vehicle does not permit service vehicle parking. Vehicles parked improperly with or without a permit will be subject to ticketing as per the Rules and Regulations.

Parking is enforced 24/7. 

Brock contacts are expected to contact Parking Services to arrange for their contracted service vehicle parking.
