  • Student Permits on Sale Tuesday, July 5th at 10 a.m.

    Student parking permit sales start on Tuesday, July 5th 

    Student online and in-office parking permit sales will begin on Tuesday, July 5 at 10 a.m.  (brocku.ca/parking/online services).  If the online system is busy, please be patient and try ordering again later.

    Residence students that need overnight parking are required to only purchase Residence parking permits only as all other student permits do not provide overnight parking.

    Parking rates will be increasing for 2016-17 in order to pay for significant maintenance work required on campus roads and parking lots. Some lots have deteriorated to the point of being beyond repaving, and need rebuilding over the next several years.  Refurbishing lots will make them safer for users, as they will be regraded to reduce standing water and the formation ice, and have more carefully divided walkways and connections to sidewalks.

    Rates for general parking permits will increase by $5 to $8 per month. Daily rates will increase by one dollar and hourly rates will remain unchanged.

    Once student permit ordering has begun, please visit brocku.ca/parking (Online Services).  We recommend ordering online to avoid lineups at the Parking office.  For easy online ordering instructions watch this video.

    Online orders can be paid by Visa or MasterCard only.   In-office orders can be paid by Visa, MasterCard, cheque, cash and debit. Parking account balances must be paid prior to purchasing your new permit and all license plates of vehicles that will display the permit must be linked to the new permit. It is a violation to display a permit in a vehicle with plates not linked to the permit.

    Faculty and staff will be able to buy their fall parking permits online starting Tuesday, June 21st at 10 a.m. (brocku.ca/parking/online services).  In-office sales will begin Tuesday, July 5 at 10 a.m.  Some permits have a special order process and are not available online.  Please contact Parking Services for more information if you do not see your desired permit.

  • Spring/Summer 2016 Permits available in April

    Starting Monday, April 4, 2016 spring/summer permits will be available for purchase at the Parking Services office located at Theal House from Monday to Friday, 8:15 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Permits are available in flexible weekly increments for the duration of your course and exam time. 

    For fast service please bring your course and exam schedule, your Brock ID and your license plate number(s). Any account balances must be paid prior to purchasing a permit. You must also link license plates of all vehicles that will display the permit. Please note that spring/summer permits are not available online.

  • Lot D Visitor Parking Lot summer hours

    Lot D Visitor Parking kiosk hours will be shortened on Saturday evenings and Sundays where there is little activity on campus requiring a kiosk attendant. Visitors will still have access to parking in Lot D by paying the daily rate of $7 at the pay machine recently installed near the entrance to Lot D. The pay machine accepts coin and credit cards. There is no parking in Lot D from 2am – 5am daily. 

  • Student parking info for the new downtown campus

    Is there parking at the new downtown campus? Please note there is no student parking at the new downtown campus however helpful information can be found below. If you have any questions about the options please contact Parking Services at 905 688 5550 x4309 or parking@brocku.ca

    Options for student parking downtown are:

    • Purchase parking permits from the City of St. Catharines for downtown lots or garages
    • Coming Soon for September – the City of St. Catharines will be completing a new 24 space pay lot adjacent to the new campus
    • Pay for hourly parking at various downtown locations
    • Purchase a parking permit for main campus and take transit downtown
    • Carpool, walk, cycle etc.

    Parking permits for mail out

    Parking Services is beginning the mail-out process of parking permits by both Canada Post and interoffice mail. Permits will be mailed in batches over the next two weeks. If you selected the “mail” option and have not received your permit by August 24th, please contact Parking Services at 905 688 5550 x 4309 or by email at parking@brocku.ca. Any permits ordered after Aug 20th will be “hold for pick up” at Parking Services only.

    Permits with the hold for pick up option, will be available at the Parking Services office starting Monday, August 10th.  Avoid line-ups and pick up your parking permit before September 8th. Parking Services is open Monday to Friday, 8:30 am – 4:30 pm. Please visit Theal House during office hours and please have your Brock ID ready.
