Hamilton Campus

General information

Parking facilities are extremely limited at the Hamilton campus and the availability of space cannot be guaranteed. Travelling to and from the Hamilton campus by ride sharing/carpooling is encouraged. Parking lots close at 10:15 p.m. Monday to Thursday, and at 4:30 p.m. on Friday to Saturday. Parking gates are closed and locked when the building is closed.

Pay/display machines are in operation within the student parking areas. Vehicles without a valid receipt displayed on the dashboard will be ticketed and/or towed.

  1. Park your vehicle.
  2. Pay for parking.
  3. Place receipt face up on dashboard. It’s that simple!

Student parking

Student parking is available only in the back of the building (access from Lawrence Road) or within the fenced area on the west end (access from King Street). Parking is available by permit or pay/display machine. Permits must be hung from the rearview mirror at all times. Pay/display receipts are to be displayed on the vehicle dashboard at all times. Pay/display receipts are valid in the student parking areas only. Any vehicle found in the faculty/staff area with a receipt will be ticketed and/or towed.

Permit parking at the Hamilton campus does not guarantee a space within the lots. If the parking areas are full, you must find somewhere else to park (off-campus). Your permit is for the convenience of not having to use the pay/display machines each time you park.

Faculty/staff parking

Faculty/staff parking is available on either side of the Hamilton campus by permit only. Any faculty/staff member wishing to use the pay/display machines must park within the student area. Pay/display receipts are not valid in the faculty/staff permit areas. Visitors to the campus may park in one of the marked visitor spaces at the east end of the building and for only 15 minutes. You must notify the office of your presence.
