Connect, engage, and have an exceptional first year experience with Off-Campus Communities.
As a student living off-campus in your first year, your Off-Campus Community will connect you to a small group of students from similar academic programs, and a Peer Mentor who will provide you with personalized support, starting this September 2022.
If you are living in Residence, you will be connected through your on-campus residence community.
Off-Campus Communities bring together small groups of incoming students from similar academic programs and personal interests. They are a place where you can ask questions, make friends, and learn about resources.
Off-Campus Communities are led by Peer Mentors and supported by Senior Leaders. Your Peer mentor is dedicated to supporting your individual goals and needs and will connect you to services and resources, involvement opportunities and answer your questions related to life at Brock.
EXPERIENCE AN EXCEPTIONAL FIRST YEAR.
Your Peer Mentor and your Off-Campus Community will help ensure you have an exceptional first year experience by connecting you to amazing people, events, involvement opportunities, and resources and services to support your success.
ABOUT OFF-CAMPUS COMMUNITIES
Off-Campus Communities bring together small groups of incoming students from similar academic programs and personal interests. Your Off-Campus Community is a place where students living off-campus can connect with other first year students, make friends, attend events, ask questions, and learn about resources.
Each Community is led by a trained upper year student called a Peer Mentor who will support and guide you.
Off-Campus Communities are formed based on your similar programs of study and personal interests. There are approximately 40-60 students in your Off-Campus Community.
Each Community is led by a trained upper year student called a Peer Mentor who will support and guide you. Your Off-Campus Community will also include one professional staff member and an additional upper-level student called a Senior Leader.
