It’s not just about fun

1. Get the information you need to succeed academically

New Student Welcome and Academic Orientation offers an official welcome to all first-year students attending Brock University. The information provided will help you to get your bearings academically. If you haven’t registered for this event, please do so by visiting ExperienceBU.

2. Connect with faculty and upper-year students

If you have questions about your classes, your academic orientation is a great time to ask. Faculty and upper-year student volunteers will be on hand to provide answers and tips. Orientation is also a fantastic opportunity to meet other new students who are sharing the same experience.

3. Get to know your campus

A new campus can seem big and overwhelming. After the New Student Welcome & Academic Orientation, you can take advantage of a campus tour and explore your new home away from home. Tour details will be announced soon.

4. Learn about resources available to you at Brock and in Niagara

As part of the day’s activities, you can also visit the Vendor Fair, where you’ll learn about opportunities to get involved on campus, as well as vendors and services available in the Niagara region.
