ANNETTE LE FORT: THE LIBRARY OF POSSIBLE BOOKS

Annette le Fort is an artist and typographer whose video works, sound projects, photograms and performative diaries explore the act of writing, memory, palimpsest, and synesthesia. Le Fort is Professor of book design at the Muthesius University of Fine Arts and Design in Kiel, Germany. “Library of Possible Books” is an artistic research project conducted in cooperation with André Heers and students at the Muthesius Kunsthochschule / Muthesius University of Fine Arts and Design in Kiel, Germany; it takes the form of a continuously expanding archive of text bodies that explore the potential space of the book.
