We’re hiring two students to work part-time in the Map, Data & GIS Library for the fall and winter academic terms.
The MDG Library Student Assistants will be responsible for providing excellent customer service to assist library users, will help maintain the operation of the unit and will, at times, be required to work with no immediate supervision. Qualifications include strong computer literacy and excellent communication skills. Skills in mapping and GIS software are an asset, as is previous library work experience.

Located in MacKenzie Chown C306, the Map, Data and GIS Library (MDGL) offers collaborative study space, computers for student use, knowledgeable, friendly staff and is open to everyone. Full-time MDGL staff provide specialized expertise with research resources and tools including mapping, GIS, data, statistics and research data management.
