BrockBox provides web based access to files stored on specific university file
servers. Users can view and edit individual ‘My Documents’ shares or ‘Department’ shares.
A valid Campus ID and password are required to access BrockBox. Guest accounts can be granted access to BrockBox via the Security Account Application Form (SARF).
BrockBox is available 24/7 except during scheduled maintenance and unplanned outages.
All client computers connected to the universities Active Directory are automatically setup for BrockBox to access their files stored in their “My Documents” folder.
For access to shared departmental or committee folders, a Computer Account Application must be submitted. The computer account application form can be found on the my.brocku.ca portal under the MyWork -> Brock DB menu -> AccessForm which administrative assistants have access to.
To request a new file share please complete an ITS Help Desk ticket including the name of the share, the name(s) of the people you would like to allow access and the name of the person who will administer the share.
