The Nuance™ system is a self-contained, high volume automatic speech
recognition (ASR) telephone application that automates call routing,
speech-activated dialing and provides access to self-service information.
This system uses Automatic Speech Recognition (ASR), which allows callers to
reach any Brock University employee or department.
Speech recognition enables callers to reach departments and/or personnel by simply saying the name of the department or first and last name of the person they wish to reach.
