About the Proof of Concept (POC)
Brock’s Information Security team is conducting a proof of concept with two new cyber security awareness training platforms to evaluate and select a cyber security awareness training platform that meets the University’s needs. During the proof of concept, selected faculty and staff will be requested to participate and provide feedback to assist in the evaluation process. Participating faculty and staff will receive:

The Importance of Cyber Security Awareness Training
Protecting against the growing number of online threats takes more than technology. More than 90% of all cyber-attacks begin with phishing. Attackers will use access gained via phishing attacks to gain footholds into networked systems, deploy ransomware, and steal sensitive data. While Brock’s Information Security team continues to invest in new security technologies and improvements to critical tools, everyone in our Brock community plays a critical role in preventing cyber security incidents. Cyber security awareness training helps strengthen our community’s cyber security skills and increases our protection against cyber threats.
