Malisa now works for the Red Cross as a Foundations Specialist/ Philanthropy Officer. She holds a regional position which covers 26 counties of the American Red Cross for Western & Central New York. She works with Foundations across the region to cultivate new relationships, maintain relationships with current donors, write grants, and report on the Red Cross’s work. Though the Red Cross is primarily known for disaster relief, grants and funding go to support the Red Cross’s 5 lines of service including: disaster relief; preparedness, health and safety; blood and biomedical services; services to the armed forces; and international services.
