Timed Race to the North Pole Challenge
This is for registration purposes only - no workshop associated

Want to ramp up your physical activity prior to the holiday season? Join us for our 5th annual timed trek to the North Pole and back! Participants will accumulate physical activity minutes through a variety of exercises consistent with Public Health recommendations, i.e. virtual exercise class, home exercise regime, treadmill, elliptical or stationary bicycle, walking etc. Record the time spent in minutes engaging in physical activity from October 19 through to December 11, 2020 on the tracking sheet that will be provided to you and return to Health Management & Wellness at the end of the challenge.
As a team, we will see if we can make it to the North Pole and back virtually before the holiday season, which is approximately 104,420 minutes (52,210 minutes each way). Prior to the launch of the challenge, those registered will receive an email with an attachment to the Race to the North Pole tracking sheet. Health Management & Wellness will draw a prize for a campus store gift card for one of the participants at the end of the challenge. Please note, as with any exercise, please consult your Physician prior to starting any new exercise program.
