Privacy statement

Our Privacy Policy Statement reflects our compliance with fair information practices, applicable laws and standards of practice. We are governed by both the Health Information Protection Act and by Brock University’s privacy regulations.

No show / Appointment cancellation policy

Student Health Services charges for missed appointments. A no show fee will be charged if you do not cancel a scheduled appointment at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled appointment. Call 905 688 5550 x3243 to cancel. If you get voicemail, please leave a message.

Request for Personal Health Information

Please fill out the information request form and fax to the attention of Naomi Christopher at Fax (905)688-6448. You can also drop off in person at Harrison Hall (Student Health Services) during regular business hours, Monday to Friday.

Inclement weather policy

University closures will be announced on local radio stations and messages will be placed on the Brock’s home page and main phones (x4060, x3377 and x3387).

If the University closes due to inclement weather, Student Health Services (SHS) will also close.

  • All appointments scheduled for that day AND urgent care walk-in clinics, will be cancelled.
  • If the University should close part way through the day, appointments AND urgent care walk-in clinics from the time of the closure onward, will be cancelled.
  • When the University reopens, SHS will resume normal hours of operation.  Please call x3243 to reschedule your appointment that was cancelled due to inclement weather.
