thrive week — november 11 to 15
Thrive Week is a mental health initiative at Brock intended to promote positive mental health through education, developing skills, reducing stigma, and promoting conversation.

As grad students, we spend a lot of time in our heads – why not make it a better place to be?
Some ways this can be accomplished is through self-care activities, such as the opportunity to connect with others in your community, and practicing self-compassion.
Join us for a self-care break with a hot chocolate bar, snacks, a yoga class, and make-your-own affirmations jar activity.
CRAFT & REFRESHMENTS: 10:00 to 11:00 am
Jars will also be provided for the make-your-own affirmation jar, but if you have a vessel you like better, feel free to bring your own! To reduce waste, please bring your own mug for hot chocolate!
YOGA: 11:00 am to 12 noon
This event is offered on a drop-in basis. However, for those interested in attending the yoga class, mats, blocks, and straps will be provided. There are a limited number of spots, so the class will be offered on a first come, first served basis.
