Notice: Recruitment and Appointment Process for the Vice-President, Equity and Inclusion – 2022

To: Members of the Brock University Graduate Students’ Association (GSA) and All Interested Applicants

Following the recent announcement of resignation, the role of Vice-President, Equity and Inclusion now sits as vacant. Pursuant to the GSA Bylaw (Document 001) and relevant GSA legislation, the association will undertake a recruitment process to fill this vacancy. Appointments will take effect for August 29, 2022 and be for the remainder of the 2022-2023 term. Recruitment will be rolling, whereby consideration of candidates will begin immediately; deadline for applications is August 12, 2022 at 4:00 p.m. (EST). Applications must include the following:

  1. a statement of interest in the position/cover letter,
  2. a resume/curriculum vitae highlighting relevant experience
  3. contact information for three references.

Interviews may be scheduled and conducted during the Recruitment process, and if required following the week of the close of the application period, with an aim to announce an appointment in the week prior to the position commencement date.
