The Goodman Alumni Network – Niagara Committee invites you to join the upcoming Tax Skills Session where you can learn the basics of tax. This workshop is ideal for those early in their career who are not quite sure how to file taxes.

You can expect to discuss:

  • What you need to file
  • What you should keep
  • Expenses and how to claim
  • Credit
  • Tools for tax planning

Engage in an interactive discussion with Goodman School of Business Instructor Connor Gates and other Goodman Alumni.

Mr. Gates is a faculty member in the Goodman School of Business at Brock University where he teaches courses in Accounting. Born and raised in Fort Erie, Gates began employment with Crawford, Smith and Swallow as an accounting co-op student in 2012. Connor holds both Honours Bachelor of Accounting and Master of Accountancy degrees from the Goodman School of Business at Brock University, graduating with first class standing as well as being inducted into the prestigious Beta Gamma Sigma Honour Society. He obtained his Chartered Professional Accountant designation in 2017.
