We are thrilled to announce the graduation of Cohort 20 of the NextGen Municipal Leadership Certificate, marking yet another milestone in our journey of fostering exceptional municipal leadership. This cohort, comprising 25 leaders from eight municipalities, has completed an intensive and transformative 10-week program. They now stand poised to lead their communities with renewed vision and purpose. 

From the orientation to the final class, Cohort 20 embarked on a journey that was both rigorous and rewarding. Participants delved into critical topics including leadership development, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI), municipal strategic planning, relations and communications, coaching, artificial intelligence, and more. Each session was thoughtfully designed to equip these leaders with the tools and strategies needed to drive meaningful change in their municipalities. 

The program’s success reflects the collaborative spirit of all involved—the dedication of our participants, the insights of our award-winning instructors, the guidance of our advisory committee, and the unwavering support of Brock University and the Goodman Group team. Together, we are building a legacy of municipal leadership excellence.
