Status of Campus Elevators

As part of the University Capital Plan the following Elevator Modernization Projects are planned for 2024

  • * Welch Hall – Complete Modernization (TKE) – Construction Start May 2024 (approx. 6 weeks)
  • * GLN A – Complete Modernization (Brock Elevator) – Construction Start May 2024 (approx. 6 weeks)
  • Mackenzie Chown A Block – Complete Modernization (Brock Elevator) – Construction Start Mid June 2024 (approx. 6 weeks)

* Please note that Welch Hall and GLN A elevators are single cars servicing their respective buildings; alternate accessibility arrangements are very limited.
