Please be advised that there will be construction activities in ST402 that may affect your work environment. As you may be aware, with undergoing any renovation, we anticipate some level of noise and disruptions during this period.

We understand that your service operations may also be affected by the construction work. We want to assure you that we are taking all necessary measures to minimize the disruptions, noise, and inconvenience to our neighboring offices.

The construction activities are scheduled to take place during regular business hours, and we have instructed the contractors to ensure that the noise levels are kept to a minimum. Additionally, we have established protocols to ensure that the common areas and elevator lobby remain clean and safe throughout the entire renovation period.

Demolition of existing walls is scheduled to take place starting tomorrow, April 4, and are expecting a heighted level of noise and frequent use of the elevators during this period. Demolition is to be completed no later than Friday April 7 and noise will be halted from April 8 through April 23 to not interfere with exams that may be happening in neighbouring spaces.

We kindly request your understanding and cooperation during this time as we work towards improving our building’s infrastructure but more importantly, our Student Experience. I will keep you informed of any developments or changes that may impact your service operations or a day where noise disruptions may be heightened.
