The Faculty of Education offers several bursaries and fellowships. Calls for bursary applications are made three times per year based on funding availability. Bursaries
This $1000.00 bursary is for full-time non-cohort, MEd students (domestic and international) in the Faculty of Education. Calls for applications are usually made in September, January and June depending on the availability of funding.
The upcoming deadlines are January 31st, 2023 and May 31st, 2023.
Requirements:
- Student must have been in the program for at least 4 months in order to be eligible for funding
- Completion of application form
- Confidential reference from 1 full-time faculty – Faculty Verification Form to be completed and submitted
Forms:

Fellowships
For the 2022-23 academic year, the Faculty of Education will provide Research Fellowship Awards of $2,500 ($1,250/Winter term and $1,250/Spring-Summer). This Fellowship is offered for full-time domestic MEd students in the Faculty of Education.
Submission deadline: February 28, 2023.
Requirements:
- Student must be a registered full-time funded student in the Research Pathway
- Be registered in the thesis or MRP at time of application
- Completion of application form: pages 2-4, to be completed by student and page 5, to be completed by advisor
