Kindly monitor this site for further updates as they become available, noting that we are currently working on alternative accommodations should current circumstances continue.

Yes our Brock Dining Services is the ideal location on campus to accommodate dietary needs such as: allergies or food intolerances (soy, eggs, nuts, dairy, seafood & wheat), vegetarian, vegan, no gluten, halal and prescribed diets. While dining at Brock Dining Services look for the icons below.

These identifiers will show you which stations have alternative options to help make your meal choice.  We offer menu items that meet most needs, however, if you require a specific specialty diet we can work together to create a menu to meet your needs. If you would like more information on how we can accommodate your dietary needs on campus, please contact: Chef Nick Paulino, paulino-nicholas@aramark.ca.

The DeCew dining hall has a gluten free kitchen to support specific dietary needs. The gluten free kitchen is student card tap access only to avoid cross contamination and to create a safe space for students navigating dietary concerns on campus. In addition to our culinary team, we will also provide daily on-site student support from our Registered Dietitian Yvanna Mesic, mesic-yvanna@aramark.ca.

Dining Dollars and Flex Dollars work as a declining balance and funds are loaded to your Brock student card.

Dining Dollars are available to be used at the following Dining Services locations on campus at this time: Tim Hortons, Starbucks in the Market, Hungry Badger and the Guernsey Market.

Flex Dollars are available to be used at the above Dining Services locations, Campus Store, Parking Services, laundry services, vending machines, General Brock and Union Station, and for Printing in both the library and Computer Commons.

The All-Access portion of the meal plan is not a declining cash balance, however is an annual plan rate for usage upon Residence Move-in expiring upon Residence Move-out. The All-Access portion of the meal plan does not carry forward.

Flex Dollars can be added at anytime via credit card using the Brock Card portal at https://card.brocku.ca. Your username and password are the same as that of your Brock Portal. Funds can be added, in person, by visiting the Brock Card office located in the box office adjacent to the Sean O’Sullivan Theatre lobby where cash, debit and credit are accepted. Learn more.

Yes, both dining and flex dollars carry over to next year. For a more detailed response on each fund type, please visit the Brock Card website.

Please note: As the All-Access portion of the meal plan is not a declining cash balance, yet an annual plan rate for usage upon Residence Move-in expiring upon Residence Move-out, the All-Access portion of the meal plan does not carry forward.

An all-access meal plan is designed to accommodate any student lifestyle with an array of healthy choices, as well as some traditional more hearty menu offerings to appeal to all audiences.  Our meal plans offer the ultimate convenience on campus with two dining halls, operating seven days a week from early morning to late night.

These locations provide students with the ability to visit for a quick coffee break or to sit down and enjoy a full meal with unlimited access either five or seven days a week.  Whether you’re a light or a hearty eater we offer a variety of stations throughout the day such as grill, entrée, international eats, deli and soup, salad, bakery and beverages.  Our plans are designed to enjoy as much or as little as you want all day every day, however it is important that all students have a balanced plate and our culinary team and Registered Dietitian offer on-site support.

Yes, both dining halls will be open for early morning as well as late night to accommodate most schedules.   While hours are subject to change, for example during Reading Week where hours may be reduced, the dining halls are open Monday-Thursday: 7:30 a.m. to 1:00 a.m. Friday: 7:30 a.m to 11:00 p.m. Saturday and Sunday: 8:30 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.  If you do require meal accommodations based on your schedule our team will with you one on one to ensure meals are accommodated if required.

Our culinary team manages the production of food base on the demand for the location to ensure we produce only what we are going to serve each day. As the Fresh Food Company is a dine-in, no take-out program, all food waste is logged and tracking to ensure we minimize food waste each and every day.  The production waste such as egg shells and fruit and vegetable peels for example are composted.  To minimize post-consumer waste we encourage all guests to only take what they are going to consume, as they can enjoy multiple servings as well as try a variety of menu items throughout their visit.
