  • Styles: Musical theatre, hip-hop, contemporary, improv, lyrical, acro, jazz
  • Cost: $50

Meet our teachers:

Natalie Tacuri
Natalie is in her fourth year on the Brock Badgers Dance Pak competitive team. As a choreographer, Natalie has been recognized with various special awards and overalls at university-based dance competitions. In her most recent competitive season, Natalie’s choreography earned the top mark of the competition, contributing to her team’s accomplishment of first overall university at Rhythm Dance Challenge. Continuing on in her teaching journey, Natalie hopes to share her love, passion, training, and expertise with her dance students.

 

 

Tia Greto
Tia is in her second year on the Brock Badger’s Dance Pak. She has extensive training in ballet, jazz, acro, tap, contemporary and musical theatre. As a choreographer, Tia has had the opportunity to create three full length musicals and has also been recognized for choreography at the 2014 and 2015 Muskoka Ballet Galas. Tia is really excited to be teaching this weekend and to be sharing this experience with such wonderful dancers!

 

 

Amelia Chaney
Amelia is in her first year on the Brock Badgers Dance Pak competitive team. Amelia has been dancing for 16 years, and has also been teaching for 6 years. Amelia evokes passion and dedication when teaching to demonstrate her love for dance. When teaching dance students, Amelia wishes to promote these qualities in her dancers.

 

 

Kaylie Estrela
Kaylie grew up training at numerous ballet schools including the National Ballet School of Canada and Quinte Ballet School of Canada! Throughout her career she has received various awards, including a scholarship to attend the Joffrey Ballet School’s Apprenticeship Program! She currently dances and competes with Badgers Dance Pak, and is their President for the 2018/19 season and looks forward to sharing her love of dance with your dancer!

 

 

Maureen Connolly
Dr. Maureen Connolly is a Professor of Physical Education and Kinesiology. Maureen’s teaching and research include curriculum, stressed embodiment, dance & movement education, and Freirian approaches to teaching and learning. Maureen enjoys training, reading, writing, laughing, and authentic interpersonal engagement.

 

 

Alyssa Nedich
Alyssa is a choreographer, artist educator and movement director specializing in contemporary and improvisational dance. She is the founder and co-artistic director of To The Pointe Dance Project.
