School tour groups and conferences
Conference Services offers accommodation, food services and meeting facilities for school groups visiting local historical sites, students attending youth conferences that can include on campus activities such as swimming, high ropes course, sports, swimming and other activities.
Youth University provides experiential learning opportunities that includes: one-, two- and three day school trip adventures for elementary and high schools. Students get to experience hands-on activities, build a sense of team and community and learn skills to reflect and resolve problems. Trip themes can include: community building, leadership development, outdoor adventure education, robotics, animation, 3D design and innovation and science workshops. There is something for everyone.
Positive Active Living for Students (PALS) program is available for students in grades one through eight from May to June each year. The objective of the program is to expose students to a variety of sports and activities that are inclusive for all students and is held at Brock University’s Walker Complex. The program will include activities such as fencing, archery, rowing, tchoukball, omnikin ball, pickle ball, badminton, flag rugby, tennis, lacrosse, ultimate frisbee, cricket, handball and more. Swimming is an option as an activity for Grade 5-8 classes attending if requested.
