Experiential Learning Awards

The Experiential Education Students of the Year Awards recognize student achievements in all facets of experiential education.

Contributions to the broader community, host organization and Brock University are considered, as well evidence of student growth and development as a result of their experience(s). Students may be nominated by an experiential learning community partner/supervisor, an Experiential Education staff member, or a faculty member at Brock University.

We offer our sincere congratulations to the following Students of the Year for 2021

Experiential Education Individual winner, Noah James

Noah James is the 2021 winner of Brocks Experiential Education Student of the Year Award. Noah is a Medical Sciences major with a minor in Biological Sciences (Genetics) who is extremely involved in Experiential Learning opportunities on the Brock campus.

Brock students (from left) Kiara Kalenuik, Ryanne Logan, Kian Rego and Kahlan Woodhouse, along with Tory Shklanka (not pictured), received Brock’s inaugural Experiential Education Group of the Year award. The team also received Experiential and Work-Integrated Learning Ontario’s Experiential Learning Student of the Year award.
