Contact us

Welcome

Welcome to the Brock Niagara Centre of Excellence in Inclusive and Adaptive Physical Activity. This Centre commits to providing authentically inclusive programs, workshops, courses, research projects, and services to the Niagara Community. Our Centre allows us to consolidate programs and services that we have offered over the past 25 years (SNAP, Saturday SNAP, CHARM, ASD Summer Movement Camp, Side By Side, among others).

Being a Research Centre also allows us to tap into our participants’ and community members’ life experiences and insider knowledge as we design research projects that will accurately represent the day to day engagements disabled people have with physical activity and provide analysis and interpretations that will inform systemic change and community cohesion. Disabled people are expert citizens and their well being and collective empowerment are at the heart of our research and service commitments.

Our Team is comprised of faculty, staff and students. You will read the profiles of the faculty and staff affiliates. As our team expands, we will keep you up to date on who is here at the Centre, what their interests are and how to contact them.

For further information, please use the emails provided in the profiles or contact capa@brocku.ca and one of us will be happy to respond to your queries and/or direct to one of our affiliates.
