Donna Moody assumed her position as Director of Campus Security Services at Brock University in January of 2007 after a distinguished career with the Niagara Regional Police Service rising to the rank of Deputy Chief of Police. Born and raised in Niagara, the Director has served in every major Municipality within the Region and commanded Police Units of a wide diversity.
Director Moody is well known throughout the Policing Community, across the Province and with our American Policing neighbours.
Deputy Chief Moody is a graduate of Niagara College Law and Security and Police Foundations Program, Police Executive Leadership Course, Rotman School of Business, University of Toronto, as well as the Criminal Justice Program at the University of Virginia. She is a graduate of the 175th Session of the U.S. Department of Justice F.B.I National Academy, Quantico, Virginia, USA.
She is a member of the OWLE (Ontario Women in Law Enforcement and the IAWP (International Association of Women Police). She has been the recipient of the International Association of Women Police Award, “Excellence in Performance” and the Ontario Women in Law Enforcement, “Heritage Award” for long serving commitment to Law Enforcement. She has been recognized for her contributions to both the Criminal Intelligence services of Ontario and the Criminal Intelligence Services of Canada. She continues to serve as the Past Chair of the Ontario Association of Chiefs of Police, Substance Abuse Committee. The Director also served two 3-year terms on the Board of Governors for Niagara College.
Director Moody has sat as a member on several Community Boards within the Niagara Region and has co- chaired several fundraising initiatives. One of the highlights of her career was being the Chair of the Ontario Special Olympic Summer Games hosted by the Niagara Regional Police Service in 2005. Brock University was the Host site of the Athletes Village and the Walker Complex hosted a section of Athletic Events and Opening and Closing Ceremonies.
Director Moody is committed to continuing the development of Community-orientated Policing and Emergency Preparedness within Brock University. In February 2013 she was awarded the Queen Elizabeth II, Diamond Jubilee Medal for a lifetime of service to her country. Donna resides in Fonthill with her husband, Rick.

I have been employed at Brock Campus Security Services since September 19th, 2005 after successful completion of the Advanced Protective Services Course at Algonquin College. Prior to that I worked in private security and served in the Canadian Navy as a Naval Acoustic Operator based out of Halifax, Nova Scotia.
My duties at Brock University involve ensuring the safety and wellbeing of Brock University students, faculty, staff, visitors, and property. Crime prevention and educating the Brock Community with respect to the Community Policing Philosophy. I worked my way up from being a contracted security guard and currently, hold the rank of Inspector, Senior Platoon Supervisor Operations. I am authorized to enforce various sections of the Liquor Licence Act of Ontario, Trespass to Property Act, Mental Health Act, Cannabis Control Act, Safe Streets Act, Highway Traffic Act as well as other provincial and all federal statutes on campus. I am a member of the Campus Assessment Response and Education team which ensures students experiencing mental health concerns etc are appropriately supported and provide Behavioral Intervention Analysis as appropriate.
It is important for all members of the Brock community to work together to ensure that Brock University is an inclusive, diverse and safe place to live, work, and play.

I started my new career at Brock University in October 2007 after retiring after serving over 30 years, in various specialty units within the Niagara Regional Police Service. My present position is an Inspector in charge of three (3) platoon members and I hold the rank of Special Constable which enables me to act as a Peace Officer while on duty here at Brock University

My name is Sam Dobbie and I joined the Campus Security Department in May 2012 as a Dispatcher/Communications Operator.
Prior to joining Campus Security, I was a Police Constable with the Toronto Police Service, Special Constable with the Niagara Regional Police Service’s Court Escort Unit, Surveillance Operator with Fallsview Casino Resort, and I have served with the Canadian Armed Forces Airborne Artillery unit.

Hello. My name is Darren Peacock and I am honoured to have joined the Campus Security Services Department in November of 2014 as a dispatcher. I currently hold the position of Special Constable.
Previously I worked as a Security Officer at Casino Niagara. While in the Security Department, I worked in various positions including Dispatcher, Investigator and as a Dual Security Supervisor. In March of 2002 I was hired into the Surveillance Department of Casino Niagara/ Niagara Fallsview Casino where I held the positions of Surveillance Operator and Dual Surveillance Shift Manager.

Hello my name is Jordan Geerdink. I’ve been working in the Private Security sector since 2004 as a private security guard and provincial offences officer.
In May 2012 I was hired by Brock University as a Communications Operator/Dispatcher in Campus Security’s Central Communications Monitoring Centre. There, I dispatch CSS’s Officers where needed, monitor the CCTV systems on campus, Social Media feeds such as, Twitter and Facebook, and door access points such as swipe access and proxy card secured areas.
