TGAO 2019 Conference Registration

Thank-you for your interest in attending the 2019 TGAO conference! The annual TGAO conference gathers stakeholders to discuss the issues surrounding campus and community relations and will focus on sharing of ideas, experiences and methods of best practice. Our 2019 conference theme; “Building Bridges” recognizes the value of the relationships between communities and post-secondary institutions, and seeks to explore the connections between colleges, universities, municipalities, local citizens, and students.

Prices listed in Canadian Dollars. 13% HST will be added to all registration fees.

The 1-day conference registration fee for delegates includes all conference keynotes and concurrent sessions, access to exhibitors, and the scheduled meals and special events on the one day chosen at registration – either Tuesday June 4 or Wednesday June 5.

The Building Bridges Niagara conference organizers are committed to improving the accessibility of the conference for attendees with disabilities.

If you identify as a person with a disability and require support you are encouraged to let organizers know well in advance of the event.  When registering online, please fill out the Accessibility Needs and Information if you need any specific accommodations.

In order for us to plan effectively, please advise us of your disability accommodation requests on or prior to Monday, May 20, 2019. We will work with you to make appropriate arrangements.

Since certain expenses are incurred prior to the conference, it is necessary for the organizing committee to impose the following cancellation policy:

All cancellations must be received in writing, via email to buildingbridgesniagara@brocku.ca, no later than Monday, May 20, 2019.

A full refund of registration fees minus a 15 percent administration fee for all cancellations received on or before this date. There is no refund of registration fees for all cancellations received on or after Tuesday, May 21, 2019.

You will receive confirmation of your cancellation by email.  Refunds will be provided via the same method as payment i.e. credit card payments will be refunded to the same card and payments made by cheque will be made by cheque.

In extenuating circumstances, your event registration can be transferred to another delegate from the same organization at any time prior to the start of the conference at no extra charge. Substitution requests can be made via email to buildingbridges@brocku.ca

Brock University protects your privacy and your personal information.  The information requested during online registration is collected under the authority of the Brock University Act, 1964 and in accordance with the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act (FIPPA) and the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) for the administration of activities related to the Building Bridges Niagara 2019 TGAO Conference.

Photos and videos may also be taken during Building Bridges Niagara 2019 TGAO Conference and used strictly for conference related purposes.  If you have any questions about this collection of information, or you do not wish your likeness to be used in this manner, please contact the conference committee by emailing buildingbridges@brocku.ca
