Our Athlete Performance Program give community athletes the opportunity to train in a collegiate strength and conditioning environment.
The purpose of the Athlete Performance Program (APP) is to build a solid athletic foundation while maintaining a focus on each athlete’s individual goals. Our APP includes coaching in linear and lateral speed, agility and quickness, power development, strength, energy system conditioning, and injury prevention. Athletes are closely coached (5:1 athlete to coach ratio) through an intense 60-minute session with the priority on perfect execution of each exercise or drill.
Athlete Performance Program Details
An APP session will consist of movement skills, strength training, and energy system development. As athletes progress through our tiered programming, sessions will become progressively more advanced once basic techniques have been mastered. All APP sessions are led by our qualified coaches to maximize athlete development in the following areas:
SPEED: Acceleration, Deceleration, Linear and Lateral Movement Techniques, Sprinting Mechanics, Footwork
AGILITY: Base of Support, Centre of Gravity, Change of Direction, Body Angles
POWER: Olympic Lifting, Plyometrics, Medicine Ball Drills
STRENGTH: Age Specific Lower Body Strength, Upper Body Strength, & Torso
MOBILITY: Myofascial Release (Foam Rolling), Various Forms of Stretching, Muscle Activation
CONDITIONING: Game Stamina Development for all Athletes.
