Students will have an opportunity to connect with local, provincial and federal politicians at the second Pizza with Politicians event hosted by the Brock University Students\u2019 Union (BUSU) next week.<\/p>\n
The event will allow students to learn more about the world of politics, public service, potential career paths and opportunities to make an impact in their communities.<\/p>\n
\u201cI am excited to continue this event during my time here at BUSU,\u201d said BUSU Vice-President, External Affairs\u00a0Mark Chrabalowski. \u201cIt is a great opportunity for students to speak with politicians about current political affairs, problems we face in our community, or anything that they\u2019re curious about.\u201d<\/p>\n
Chrabalowski leads a BUSU team that advocates for and with students on issues that affect post-secondary education both on campus and in the community.<\/p>\n
Pizza with Politicians takes place Thursday, March 13 from 7 to 9 p.m. in the Isaac\u2019s Lounge. This event, which will include free pizza and beverages, will have limited space available.
