{"id":98402,"date":"2025-01-10T15:26:40","date_gmt":"2025-01-10T20:26:40","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/brocku.ca\/brock-news\/?p=98402"},"modified":"2025-01-10T16:20:45","modified_gmt":"2025-01-10T21:20:45","slug":"negotiations-continue-with-osstf","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/brocku.ca\/brock-news\/2025\/01\/negotiations-continue-with-osstf\/","title":{"rendered":"Negotiations continue with OSSTF\u00a0"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"paragraph\"><span class=\"normaltextrun\"><span lang=\"EN-US\">Brock continues to work toward a new collective agreement with the Ontario Secondary School Teachers\u2019 Federation (OSSTF) District 35, which represents office, clerical, administrative, and library support staff.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph\"><span class=\"normaltextrun\"><span lang=\"EN-US\">The next bargaining date is scheduled for Tuesday, Jan. 14 and will include a provincially-appointed mediator. Brock is hopeful that these talks will be successful and there will be no labour disruption on campus.<\/span><\/span><span class=\"eop\"><span lang=\"EN-US\">\u00a0<\/span><\/span><span class=\"normaltextrun\"><span lang=\"EN-US\">\u00a0<\/span><\/span><span class=\"eop\"><span lang=\"EN-US\">\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph\"><span class=\"normaltextrun\"><span lang=\"EN-US\">On Dec. 30, the Ontario Ministry of Labour issued a &#8220;no board report&#8221; at the request of OSSTF.
