With the holiday season fast approaching, the third annual Brock LINC Holiday Market is set to be the largest and most festive one to date.<\/p>\n
The event takes place Wednesday, Nov. 27 and Thursday, Nov. 28 from noon to 4 p.m. in the Rankin Family Pavilion atrium.<\/p>\n
This year\u2019s market, which includes food vendors for the first time, has almost doubled in size with 40 vendors offering shoppers a chance to pick up unique, handmade gifts and support Brock student, staff and faculty businesses. While some vendors will offer alternate payment options, shoppers are advised to come prepared for cash-only purchases.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt is exciting to see the Brock community embrace makers and entrepreneurs at the Holiday Market, as well as give our campus an opportunity to shop local for this festive season,\u201d says Karyn Gicante, Brock LINC\u2019s Innovation Program Co-ordinator.<\/p>\n
With something for everyone, students, staff and faculty can explore a wide range of handmade goods such as art, clothing, books, beauty products and delicious treats.<\/p>\n
Alison Innes, Strategic Initiatives and Outreach Officer in Faculty of Humanities, will be at the event selling oil paintings of wildlife and looks forward to sharing her creations with the Brock community.<\/p>\n
