{"id":97436,"date":"2024-11-19T15:23:41","date_gmt":"2024-11-19T20:23:41","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/brocku.ca\/brock-news\/?p=97436"},"modified":"2024-11-19T15:35:28","modified_gmt":"2024-11-19T20:35:28","slug":"program-connects-student-with-academic-personal-supports","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/brocku.ca\/brock-news\/2024\/11\/program-connects-student-with-academic-personal-supports\/","title":{"rendered":"Program connects student with academic, personal supports"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>From juggling assignments and navigating social circles to managing financial pressures and maintaining mental well-being, university life can come with a unique set of hurdles.<\/p>\n<p>While these pressures can feel overwhelming, Brock University\u2019s CARE (Campus Assessment, Response and Education) and Connect program strives to help any student with any concern at any time.<\/p>\n<p>All Brock employees and students can <a href=\"https:\/\/brocku.ca\/student-affairs\/care-and-connect\/submit-a-concern\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">submit a referral<\/a> for a student in need of assistance with mental health struggles, academic concerns, financial stress or personal crises.
