The Brock community has raised $13,850 for relief efforts in Japan.<\/p>\n

The University\u2019s fundraising campaign benefited the work of the Canadian Red Cross<\/a> in Japan, a country ravaged by an earthquake and tsunami on March 11. The country continues to suffer from earthquakes and problems with its nuclear power stations.<\/p>\n

John Kaethler, director of International Services and Programs Abroad<\/a>, is pleased with the efforts.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s brought us together for a common cause, and we\u2019ve learned a lot more about Japan,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
