The impact of these relationships will be the focus of the next Goodman Luncheon Speaker Series event on Friday, Sept. 27.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_95943\" style=\"width: 210px\" class=\"wp-caption alignright\"><img aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-95943\" decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\" wp-image-95943\" src=\"https:\/\/brocku.ca\/brock-news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/09\/thumbnail_headshot-photo.jpg\" alt=\"A man in glasses and a grey shirt poses for a headshot.\" width=\"200\" height=\"300\" \/><p id=\"caption-attachment-95943\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Shavin Malhotra, Professor of Strategy and Conrad Research Excellence Chair at the University of Waterloo<\/p><\/div>\n<p>Shavin Malhotra, Professor of Strategy and Conrad Research Excellence Chair at the University of Waterloo\u2019s Conrad School of Entrepreneurship and Business, will share more about his research during his upcoming lecture, Beyond individual leadership: The impact of joint CEO involvement on M&amp;A Success.<\/p>\n<p>Malhotra\u2019s research has appeared in leading management journals, including <em>Administrative Science Quarterly<\/em>, <em>Academy of Management Review,<\/em> <em>Strategic Management Journal<\/em>, <em>Journal of International Business Studies<\/em>, <em>Entrepreneurship Theory and Practice<\/em>, <em>Journal of Management<\/em> and <em>Research\u00a0Policy<\/em>. His work has also been featured in the <em>Harvard Business Review<\/em>\u00a0and <em>Wall Street Journal<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/brocku.ca\/goodman\/faculty-research\/luncheon-speaker-series\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Luncheon Speaker Series<\/a> provides Goodman faculty, staff and students with an informal opportunity to discuss recent advances in research, teaching and practices with business colleagues.
