{"id":95735,"date":"2024-09-18T12:57:34","date_gmt":"2024-09-18T16:57:34","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/brocku.ca\/brock-news\/?p=95735"},"modified":"2024-09-19T15:13:34","modified_gmt":"2024-09-19T19:13:34","slug":"goodman-grad-to-discuss-consumer-reactions-to-inflation","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/brocku.ca\/brock-news\/2024\/09\/goodman-grad-to-discuss-consumer-reactions-to-inflation\/","title":{"rendered":"Goodman grad to discuss consumer reactions to inflation"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><em><strong>Note: This event will now take place in GSB 310.\u00a0<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p>The next Goodman Luncheon Speaker Series will delve deeper into how inflation-driven price increases influence consumers\u2019 deal-seeking behaviour across different income levels and household sizes.<\/p>\n<p>Jeff Boichuk (BBA \u201908, MSc \u201910), an Assistant Professor of Marketing at Western University\u2019s Ivey Business School, will share more about his research during his talk, Deal seeking: How the cost of living, family size and income influence search patterns, on Friday, Sept. 20 from 12:30 to 2 p.m. in <span data-teams=\"true\"><span class=\"ui-provider a b c d e f g h i j k l m n o p q r s t u v w x y z ab ac ae af ag ah ai aj ak\" dir=\"ltr\">GSB 310<\/span><\/span>.<\/p>\n<p>Before completing his PhD at the University of Houston, Boichuk completed his undergraduate and master\u2019s degrees at Brock with a focus on marketing. His research interests include the areas of business-to-business marketing, marketing analytics and sales force effectiveness. Before joining Ivey, he taught at the University of Virginia\u2019s McIntire School of Commerce.<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/brocku.ca\/goodman\/faculty-research\/luncheon-speaker-series\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Luncheon Speaker Series<\/a> provides Goodman School of Business faculty, staff and students with an informal opportunity to discuss recent advances in research, teaching and practices with business colleagues.<\/p>\n<p>The event is open to everyone.
