Brock University students from Trinidad and Tobago recently spent time making community connections that link to both Niagara and their home country.<\/p>\n
Through an visit facilitated by Brock International, students spent time connecting with members of the St. Catharines and Regional Municipality of Niagara Twinning and Mundilization Association at a networking event Sunday, Sept. 8.<\/p>\n
During the visit, the Twinning Association presented the University with a $1,000 donation to support a longstanding scholarship for Trinidad and Tobago students.<\/p>\n
Brock University has cultivated a strong partnership with the Twinning Association stemming from the official twinning of St. Catharines and Port-of-Spain, the capital of Trinidad and Tobago. The decades-long connection has empowered the University to provide educational opportunities to Trinidadian students. The donation underscores a continued commitment to supporting students\u2019 aspirations and fostering cross-cultural exchange at Brock.<\/p>\n
