Caroline Hummell\u2019s passion for mentorship began on the basketball court.<\/p>\n
As an Applied Health Sciences PhD student, she now studies mentorship, program evaluation and positive youth development<\/a> in the sport and recreation sector.<\/p>\n The accomplished athlete and academic has a genuine desire to help women and girls achieve their potential. At the next Women in Leadership meeting, she will tell her story, explain why she feels mentorship is so important for women and girls, and share the lessons from her experiences and research.<\/p>\n Hummell, who led the development of and continues to co-ordinate the Deborah Rosati Women in Leadership Mentorship Program<\/a>, says she\u2019s also looking forward to \u201chighlighting some success stories from the first two cohorts.\u201d<\/p>\n Hummell\u2019s presentation will take place Wednesday, July 10 from noon to 1 p.m. on Microsoft Teams.<\/p>\n Details on this and\u202fother\u202fupcoming Women in Leadership sessions, including dates, descriptions and login information are available on\u202fthe WIL website<\/a>.
