Brock University Professional and Continuing Studies (PCS) is working to help grow the skills of the local workforce through a partnership with the South Niagara Chambers of Commerce (SNCC).<\/p>\n
The University\u00a0has signed a memorandum of agreement to become a learning partner of the SNCC, through which Brock will support reskilling and upskilling in the Niagara community.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe are very excited to be partnered with the South Niagara Chambers of Commerce to help build the skills of the Niagara workforce,\u201d says Nathan Cheney, Director, Professional and Continuing Studies. \u201cThis partnership will allow us to listen to and support local businesses and their employees.\u201d<\/p>\n
The partnership includes support of the annual SNCC Niagara Networks event<\/a>, an annual employer pulse survey to help identify the needs of employers and the Niagara workforce in relation to skill and career growth, the potential for joint programming and discounts on open enrolment programming from Brock PCS for SNCC members.<\/p>\n \u201cThis partnership with Brock University for learning opportunities for our South Niagara businesses is a meaningful resource that we are thrilled to offer our membership.
