Responses to adversity in childhood\u201d on Monday, May 6 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in PLZ 600F.<\/p>\n<p>The examination committee members are Brian Roy, Chair; Angela Book, Supervisor; Shelley Aikman, External Examiner (University of North Georgia); Ann-Marie DiBiase, Internal Examiner; and Drew Dane and Tim Murphy, Advisory Committee.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Master of Science in Chemistry<\/strong> <strong>thesis defence <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Maneesha Wijesundara, a Master of Science in Chemistry candidate, will defend the thesis \u201cSynthesis and Properties of \u03c0-Extended Phenoxyl Radicals&#8221; on Tuesday, May 7 at 11:30 a.m. in GSB 305 in hybrid format.<\/p>\n<p>The examination committee includes Melanie Pilkington, Chair; Martin Lemaire, Supervisor; Kenneth Maly, External Examiner (Wilfrid Laurier University); and Melanie Pilkington and Art van der Est, Committee Members.<\/p>\n<p><strong>PhD in Chemistry thesis defence<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Christopher Wicks, a PhD in Chemistry candidate, will defend the thesis \u201cTowards the total synthesis of semi-synthetic opiate species and presilphiperfolan-1-ol\u201d on Friday, May 10 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in virtual format.<\/p>\n<p>The examination committee members are Elizabeth Vlossak, Chair; Costa Metallinos, Supervisor; Michael A.
